Pretty much the strongest team they could of played. Gerrard and Keane out injured and Carragher out but otherwise its full strength. Torres is back for them.

No Reina, Arbeloa, Carragher, Aurelio, Gerrard, Mascherano, Alonso, Kuyt, Riera or Keane.. but other than that you're spot on.

For there own reasons, they choose to play who they felt right for the game.

3 of those are injured so couldn't have played and of the others I reckon only Mascherano and maybe Reina are better than those playing.
Spurs aren't playing their strongest side either. No Darren Bent & no Ledley King or Johnathan Woodgate.
