Firstly well done to the club for trying to get more tickets for this game. My question is this though.....

I have posted my application already but how will the applications be sorted? Will it be on a first come first served basis or will you wait a few weeks then pull them out of the hat? Also do you have any idea from phone calls so and inquiries so far what the interest in this game is and do you expect us to sell are full allocation?

Spurs Ticket Info

The club have been advised that the FA Cup third round match
at White Hart Lane will be all-ticket for Albion supporters. The club expects to receive an allocation of approximately 4,400 tickets priced as follows:
Adults: £25/£30
Over 65 & Under 16s: £13/£15

Applications are now being accepted by POST ONLY from season ticket holders (one ticket per person) and existing members of the Away Members Scheme (one ticket per Member). Supporters who have made a donation to the Alive and Kicking Fund may also apply for one ticket and applications will be accepted from registered Litter Patrollers (one ticket each).

Applicants should supply an open cheque (made payable to Brighton and Hove Albion FC) or credit/debit card details, including a self-addressed, stamped envelope, names and addresses (or account numbers) of all applicants that require tickets. Supporters are asked not to specify which price band they prefer, as the club will be selling the allocation in a specific order.

Supporters should note that they can only apply for one ticket per person; no matter how many of the qualifying categories they fall into.

Applications will be processed in strict order of date
receipt. Please clearly mark your envelope 'Spurs'.
Supporters who join the Away Members Scheme after the 5th December 2004 may also apply by post immediately marking their envelope 'Spurs New' but these applications will only be processed should tickets remain after applications from existing Season Ticket Holders/Away Members/Alive & Kicking Certificate Holders and Litter Patrollers have been dealt with.

Any remaining tickets will be made available over the counter at the Ticket Office in Queens Road to season ticket holders and away members from Tuesday 4th January. Supporters who are not away members will be required to join the Away Members Scheme before purchasing a ticket.

All Seagulls Club enquiries should be made to Paul Kerr on 01273 604645 who will be running coaches to this match. Disabled supporters should contact the Ticket Office on 01273 776992 for details of their allocation.

Do we need to buy tickets in advance or can we pay on the gate?

Think we will definately sell out 4,400. It will be a repeat of the West Ham game ticketwise (resultwise would be good too!) although we have a bigger allocation so everyone should be happy!

I think the simple fac tis as long as you apply today or tomorrow you will gt tickets, the longer you leave it the less likely it will get I would imagine it will be fine up until the weekend though

I actually found it quite annoying that the answer to this question is a very clear NO from the website.

Some people, particularly if they are buying several tickets, will want the cheaper ones for purely economic reasons, so it should be allowed.

When I was a lad, I always went for the cheapest tickets - until the '91 play off final when I found I couldn't see (which was actually a blessing as it turned out). I now always go for the expensive ones - but only because I can actually afford to.
