FOOTBALL RELEGATED IN ODDS SHOCKER

Just a glimpse into how the Bookies feel the public really loathe / love our misfiring millionaires. I'd give Amy a vote myself...

Latest odds:

7-4 Graeme McDowell
15-8 Tony McCoy
7-1 Jessica Ennis
16-1 Tom Daley
20-1 Colin Montgomerie, Phil Taylor
25-1 Lewis Hamilton
33-1 Mo Farah, Paul Scholes,
40-1 Graeme Swann, Lee Westwood, Amy Williams
50-1 David Haye
66-1 Jenson Button, Ian Poulter
80-1 Rory McIlroy

Paul Scholes may do a Ryan Giggs?

Daley for me.

He should have won it last year before the SHAM of giving it to Giggs for 'having a good career'.

It's called the bloody Sports personality of the YEAR award. Not then 'Sports person who is still quite good considering his age' award.

Sorry, im still angered by this.

Let me get this right. SPOTY is on 19th December, in the middle of the 3rd Test of the Ashes, Graeme Swann has had a stellar year already and he's 40-1??

If I was a betting man I'd lump in on that large.

Westwood.

He bloody well should be, when was the last time an ENGLISHMAN was world number 1, which he will be in a couple of weeks (Nick Faldo??). But because there is no major on the sideboard he will be overlooked. Pretty piss poor year again really, on an individual front. Thank god for the teams, when does the Ashes finish? Would be a close run thing between the golfers and the cricket team if we won the Ashes.

He can have a shout if he wants, but this is about sportsmen and women. Not who has got a decent eye and spent the most time in a pub practising.

Or Tom Daley, who spends his time falling off planks.

Or Lee Westwood, who spends his time swinging a metal stick.

Phil Taylor has just as much right to be classed as a world class sportsman as any of the others on the list.
