Yeah, I know, I got a ban for speeding a few years ago (albeit on an empty dual carraigeway, dry conditions in daylight) and since then I've managed to get my head around the reason for speed limits and I really don't speed any more. It helps that I have cruise control on my car, which means when I hit a 30 zone, I set the Cruise and sod the fuckers up my backside trying to force me to go faster.

One thing that did get my goat a few weeks back was a police car with no sirens/blues and twos on absolutely bombing down a quiet residential road that leads onto Carden Ave. Any pedestrian who had stepped into the road would have been obliterated.

Yes I was, I was borrowing my bosses car, an Alfa GTV 3.0 and I simply didn't realise I was doing 120 as the police car only caught up as I slowed for a roundabout.
My car at the time was a Subaru Forester and I knew the car well, so would never have got to those speeds without keeping check on my rearview mirror.

Moral, just don't speed, then you don't have to keep a lookout for the filth.
