Having just been along Southend Seafront on my lunch I was very happy to see Albion Shirts on the prom already with Beers in hands enjoying the estuary views!

Not sure mate, just popped down to fruits hall to buy tickets from the shop, bloke in there reckoned about 600 so far, but I guess a lot will pay on gate.

How far is the seafront from the ground by the way lads? I may head there soon and go for a stroll on the seafront before the match

It's not far from Roots Hall to the seafront. Fifteen minutes stroll if I recall. Not that the Southend seafront looks like seafront as we know it.

Friday 22nd August. Roots Hall. Kick-Off 7.45pm.

This match is not all-ticket. Albion fans have been given an allocation of 2000 seats, 570 of which are available as advance tickets from the Albion Ticket Office. 100 tickets have been designated as "family tickets".

Doubt we will sell out, 2000 tickets allocated in all so would be very unlikely especially for an evening game.

No worries getting tickets there BoF but I would recommend you leave a bit of time to queue, there is a poxy little hut thing next to the turnies and last time queue was loooong

Saw the fat warbler at the Cliff Pavillion up here..she spent about 10 minutes at the end of her set ranting on about Southend United and singing a load of rubbish about them.
