What a complete shambles - doesn't take a great deal of market research to work out that Brentford might be really up for this game.

Brentford are a shambles. We had a Christmas game there around 1998 or 1999 and Cardiff asked them well in advance to make it all ticket as interest was high here. Brentford refused and said there would be plenty of room for everyone.

On the day something like 2,000 Cardiff fans were locked out. A mate of mine took his wife and two kids to what was supposed to be their first away game. None of them got in.

Sounds like the Brentford officials have learned nothing since then.

I shall be looking out for Mark's mum, dad, neice etc. etc. at the next long haul up north. I wil be armed with maps to the away ground, a hot flask of bovril and some ham sandwiches to offer them.
