Can I ask a very specific question - and realise people may not be able to answer
I am in the process of running an comedy night, it is Covid secure in terms of social distancing and we have groups of bubbles + small work offices in groups less than 6 attending - masks will be worn while performances are running and we will encourage no social interaction with other tables
If Brighton goes into tier 3 it will be cancelled but if it is in tier 2 am I reading the guidance right that the work bubbles would not be allowed and any ticket holders would have to order food as well to be able to be served alcohol on the night? We have some who have pre-ordered food already which I am not sure if it covers the whole night and everyone there or if only those who eat are allowed?
Similarly if we serve the food prior to the show are they allowed to drink during the show or is that not allowed and it has to be only while eating?
These guidelines are such a constant headache!
Any help would be greatly appreciated
