Any advert for Peloton bikes. Don't know about the UK, but the ones in the States are just horrible, borderline offensive and just plain wrong on multiple levels. Is there an advertising equivalent of the razzies that they have for really bad movies?

This is how you do it

The Arnold Clarke adverts that were interspersed within some excellent C4 Walter Presents stuff (i think) - i.e. every single break there's these two wetsuit clad girls who have been I assume SUPing in a lake - one can't find the key to their Arnold Clarke Peugeot 3008 SUV believing it is at the bottom of said lake. The other one (with blue hair and yellow hat) waves the key and then they are seen enjoying coffee in the car (probably wearing DryRobes but that's another rant). Every sodding break

Yeah, I watched two ERs on All4 the other day and they showed that advert as only that advert 7-8 times in each episode.

We have classicfm on occasionally and nearly all their adverts are annoying but they have one with a loud pop/dance song on it that's completely jarring

Bet365. Bet responsibly. Bet in play. Naaaaaah!

(and all the other responsible betting ads; some of them are exclusively focused on minimising betting; a bit like watching ads for a knocking shop that focus exclusivey on the risks of ghonorrea and the moral turpitude associated with carnal flippancy).

This.

Anything to do with online gambling really sticks in my craw. How these are allowed is beyond me when adverts for other addictional products are banned. We are told to bet responsibly but then have all these adverts rammed down our throats.

And online "casinos" are worse. No you are not in bloody Vegas - you are sitting at home losing money on a silly game on your phone.

That Highways Agency one about 'turning left' and getting to safety on Motorways is on pretty much every break and doing my nut!
Still it seems to have resurrected the career of the fat bloke from Bread.

Yes I agree, the adverts are very weird but more worryingly the sofa doesn't look very comfy.
Owen Wilson looks like he has snapped his neck whilst lying on that sofa.
Its a horrible sofa too.

I listen to Absolute Radio during the day and there's 2 adverts which particularly annoy me at the moment:

"Did somebody say Just Eat?" - especially the one with a man pretending to speak like a smart speaker.

Cinch - Rylan Clark-Neal "he said" and "I said" even though you can quite clearly hear who is saying it.

EDIT: And all betting adverts, obviously.

What is this 'advert' thing that you speak of?

Most times I record, watch things when they suit me to do so, and FFw through any breaks, if there are any.

If I am watching live (e.g. the game tonight), I just leave the room at half time and come back when the endless 20-min ad-splurge has finished.

I've never fully understood the use of 'famous people' in adverts. At a stretch I can just about see how some people might consider Philip Schofield trustworthy, or maybe him being in it makes the advert more memorable in a good way for some rather than an annoyance, but I can't imagine I've ever met anyone who'll think "ooh, Rylan does the voiceover for this, it must be a really good product."
