It will take time for a new squad to gel together and if we dont get off to a good start then it will be a hard task to get back up to the play-offs!

Keep the majority of the squad now and only get rid of the players that we dont need (Mayo, Hawkins, Birchall, etc...)

All we need to do is tweak the squad and bring in back-up in certain positions.

WE DONT NEED A HUGE CLEAR OUT

i agree that we should ship out the luggage we have but keep the main core of the team, especially out-of-contract players like Hart, Owusu, Loft, Whing and Fraser.

Thats pretty much the reason i wuld have guessed the club would announce today. Especially after the whole Lynch situation a couple of weeks ago

shame but not the end of the world really, he is a good grafted but not going to be a regular in a team "aiming for top 6 finish"
