There was an interview with some Team GB wheelchair rugby player the other day & they said to him the (former Olympic basketball) venue where it takes place has sold a capacity 20,000 tickets for every game GB play.

He said he'd never played in front of more than a few hundred people before. Fantastic news for the competitors, they must be itching for it to start.

There seem to be plenty for Excel (judo, powerlifting, fencing, boccia) and the road cycling at Brands Hatch available now!

I got a ticket a couple of weeks back. Thought I'd save £6 by picking it up. Went and got it this lunch time from the central London pick up point and got caught in a massive downpour with no jacket or brolly (both of which I have in the office). Had to buy a new shirt on the way back to the office. Money well saved eh!

I believe they've found a use in the Paralympics Opening Ceremony for the 750kg of glitter ordered for the Olympic Opening Ceremony - at a cost of £12,000 - which they never used.
