No it's not. It's 2.2 miles - walkable in 40 minutes.

There are 10 buses an hour from New Street Station and the journey takes less than 15 minutes.

Blimey! God knows why I thought it was 25 miles. Thanks.

I`ll defiantly stay the night, if we get there, then.:drink::drink:

Edgbaston, 100%. Can't wait. Just hope I get a ticket. (I'm a non-member.)

Brentford away has been done so many times, and we normally lose (normally a whooping). Yes its a terrace, but Sussex have a shot a glory. The Albion have a shot at 3 points.

I loves the Albion I do, but Sussex for me. A day and night in Birmingham, hotels look quite cheap, train tickets are cheap. Its just the match ticket which will be expensive, but you get to watch 3 games at about £18-£20 each

And of course Sid gets his limelight in the mascot derby, where he wont be facing Chris Lewis :lolol:

Come on you Shhhhaaaaaaaarrrrkkkkkkss!!!

Neither! :rant:I'm getting married on August 15th.

I could tolerate missing Brentford as plenty of other away days and bad memories of those fairly recent midweek live on Sky thrashings. I was able to go to Lords last Sat and Sussex got turned over by six wickets! I went to the last Finals day that Sussex were in (also at Edgbaston) and its an amazing day out. If you love footie & cricket i'd recommend the cricket this time.

As for me i'm stuffed:rant:

I think I'll do Brentford and watch Sussex on tellybox.
Anyone know if Sussex will be playing 1st or 2nd ? 1st game starts 11.30 and final was about 5.30ish last time so pray Sussex aren't on in afternoon game
