They're forecasting snow next week for the east of the country, all the way from Aberdeen down to Dover, even as far inland as London.

What are the odds that Brighton gets hit! Cue more traffic chaos etc etc!

The channel is still warm for the time of year so I don't think we'll get much on the south coast.

Hope not as this country is crap at dealing with snow.

Look at countries like Canada, they get 5ft of the stuff nearly DAILY and they carry on as normal.

We get a light dusting on the floor, more like icing sugar, and the WHOLE f***ing country grinds to a halt!

I blame the Muslems! :jester:

Brighton will not see any snow and infact the temperatures aren'rt ven going to be particularly cold, just back to where they should , winter temperatures from 1/11 are about 10 f above normal and Jan is by far the warmest since records bgean 400 years ago , a full 9F above normal, it will feel cold because it won;t be exceptionally mild for a few days thats all.

Mon 8C 46F
Tues 4C 39F
Weds 4C 39F
Thurs 6C 43F
Fri 8C 46F

Normal for time of year 6C 43F

There may be some snow on Northern and Scottish hills thats all. Expect to Carol Kirkwood on top of the Yorkshire Moors at 2000 feet with some snow saying how cold it is sometime next week.

We will not get any snow as the temperatures will be nowhere near cold enough even by night

The last proper snow we had was 1991, 16 years ago, The South East of England will never see snow again of more than an inch once every 5 years or so

One of the reasons I wanted to get back down south was to get away from snow.

Depends on Wind Direction, Northerly , forget it, North West forget it, North East - Kent and Essex, East - we get it, but we get a winter easterly about once very 10 years now and in any case the whole of Europe is basking in temperatures that are expected in October, Moscos reached 47f this week , previous record 37f, average for time of year 16f max day

The winds will be N / NW so no Cigar
