Any income from April counts. tax, dividends interest up to your allowance then taxed on the rest.

depends on your other income but if your tax code is 647L then you pay no tax until you earn £6475, assuming other income isn't coded out

not quite. If you are on PAYE your tax allowance will be divided by 12 (if monthly paid) so your allowance and tax paid is even throughout the year. If you stop earning you will be entitled to a tax refund.

They might put you on emergency tax or what code you were previously on last time you worked.

You will get it back if they take too much
