Mind you, it would be massively entertaining watching him come up against Nathan Jones when we play Yeovil again. Let the handbags commence!

Why the past tense? Sounds like Jewell is agreeable to the idea (he's not using Savage at all).. so it's just down to whether the player wants to reunite with his old boss...

Virgo, Hawkins and McLeod all wanted to play for MA again... so you never know

Because the Derby site (see the Robbie "Salvage" post) states he has already rejected the idea.

I don't think Withdean offered secure enough parking for his Lamborghini.

Thursday 25 September 2008

DERBY County midfielder Robbie Savage has turned down a loan move to Brighton and Hove Albion.

Rams boss Paul Jewell this week confirmed that the former Wales international was available for loan.

But Savage has decided against moving to League One Brighton, who Derby face in the third round of the Carling Cup.

Ah right.. Micky says "he has a number of options and he is considering those", which I took to mean we were still one of them.
