Seriously even if you only have a passing interest in Bond, but feel you might pop along in a couple of weeks, stay away from spoilers and threads like this!

I fooking loved it.
Casino Royale is one of my all time fav films, so therefore is my favourite Bond.

Skyfall gives it a close run, but it's hard to tell as they are very very different films.

I loved it, and strongly recommend it to the house..

Pretty much every review has said it is either a) one of the best Bond films, or b) the best Bond film ever.

Quantum of Solace really put me off Bond but the trailers and the critical response fo Skyfall has got me excited to see it

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
Bond gets off with beautiful women, car chase, explosions, kills bad people and wins? ???

2 and a half hours. I'll see it, yes, but i doubt i'll class it as a masterpiece.
Fingers crossed you'll be surprised.

It's very different to Casino Royale, but as 2 sides of the same coin they are both fantastic films.

I hope so too. :)
I need to fill in a few hours between work and football at 9.15 on a Monday, so that should do it.
On Tuesday i have that Argo preview. That's meant to be quite good.

Oh, and about a year or more ago i saw the film Elena that's coming out tonight. Very ordinary day-to-day film that suddenly and brilliantly turns. Russian, mind you. I recommend that. :)

Just listening to Kermode giving it a glowing review to the point of the suggestion of it being "the best Bond ever".

As much as I like Craig as Bond, I hated Solace and wasn't mad on Royale so wasn't that bothered about Skyfall until the reviews suggesting this is more of 007 movie than some vague Bourne rip off with Bond music.

Am I the ONLY person who liked Quantum of Solace?

Argo has been getting rave reviews from the Washington DC centric podcast, I listen too.

Thought Casino Royale was rubbish, I think I fell asleep Craig was so appallingly wooden. I watched 5 mins of QoS and it seemed that you needed to have seen CR in order to understand it, so gave up. Doubt I be bothering the the new one, at least until it gets to Sky Movies.

What was his killer quip at the end? It was either inaudible, or I'm going mutton?

As I said on my pre Skyfall thread!:-

When completely removed from the deflation of expectation.
When you already know the baddy is a utilities company.
Now that I was prepared for horrendous product placement.

It wasn't as bad as I remembered it.
