I've gathered from this that we were interested in him but yeah, didn't want to move down south so we're stuck. I'm surprised RSC is going on about Real Betis saying last year how much he wanted to move to them.

There's about as much chance that I'll play for the Albion this coming season as RSC.
I reckon the interview with Gus we were waiting for on SSN is him attempting to curb our expectations. Some of the stuff on here recently has been totally mental.

Although I don't think he will, I'm not sure a professional footballer would not move to a club, just to stay near a friend.
