Well unfortunately cable isn't offered in my area so I have to make do with a dish bolted to the side of my house.

Couldn't care less though to be honest, it's no more or less un-pleasing on the eye than the TV aerial.

I just complained to see if I could get anything out of them. I got £10 a month off my bill for 6 months and free upgrading of Broadband from 2meg to 4meg

are we entitled to any money back? unlikely I know but SSN is the cable channel I use most

On radio 5 today they said that people could cancel there package if they were still in there first 12 months with the company, and wouldn't be charge a fee for doing this, as apparently that was the terms in the contract but as virgin has technically broken there contract people wouldn't be liable to pay that penalty.
Radio 5 did recomend that not everyone should go out and cancel there subscribtions but give virgin a call and arrange a deal seeing that the coustomers are not getting what they agreed when siging to the company, and may get a better package deal.
So i reckon its well worth giving them a call!
