I think you were told a porky pie , there may have been a technical problem instead. Sky can flag programmes , mainly box office and PPV sports events as copy protected which means you cant record them and copy onto a DVD.

To be fair, I don't think it was a porky pie, more of a Numptie. I am pleased to advise that I am able to pause and Record the England Germany match on SS1HD

The problem with working in a call centre is that some individuals spout total garbage which is picked up by surrounding colleagues , mostly newbies , who think it is gospel and do the same.
