Sky Atlantic launches Feb 1st

I wonder if this will hurt the channel FX, afterall they have alot of HBO stuff on there and cant see them getting new series ahead of this new Sky one.

Another HBO series worth watching, if Sky Atlantic include it, is “Bored to death”. It’s about a Brooklyn writer who moonlights as a private detective. Very funny and includes Ted Danson in one of his best roles

Thats a bit shit, it says all the main terrestrial channels have opted out ! So a little pointless then !

HBO starts a new series this Sunday called “Luck” with Dustin Hoffman and Michael Gambon. Looks good with all the usual HBO production values. It’s based at Santa Anita racetrack and features a bunch of lowlifes, hustlers and regular punters. Hoffman plays Ace Bernstein a newly released con who is banned from gambling as part of his parole. I would guess Sky Atlantic will be picking it up
