Just head from Andy who spoke to the distributor - following the national media publicity (especially Independent today) online orders coming in all over the place, they're pressing another 1000 (meaning 6000 in total) all assured sales, more people backing us, more money for the Albion...

If we manage a second week in the Top 40 it will be interesting to see whether Radio 1 give it a play in their chart show on Sunday, as my understanding is they are only obliged to play the Top 20 and can give a few of the songs in No.s 21-40 a miss?

Sounds about right. I pre-ordered my copy weeks ago, and it still hasn't arrived; I'm hoping it'll be sitting on my doormat when I get home tonight.

Makes me wonder what would have happened had we ordered an absolute shitload, like many thousands from Amazon/HMV. We would know they would not be able to deliver hence we would not be able to be charged, yet we were told they'd count as pre-orders.

Anyone want to try this theory out by putting in an order for a thousand or two...?
