My First Time On My Own

The First Away Trip I Made On My Own Was Shrewsbury Away Oct 75, No Relatives Or Mates On The Supporters Coach,came Down From The Heath At Some Ungodly Hour By Train,coach Left Outside St Peters Church Around 7.30am. Sat Next A Fat Bloke On The Coach. He Didn't Talk But Just Ate. We Won 2-1 Binney/sully. Hardly TAlkED To Anyone All Day.hey But Whats Knew.

I was at that match too, quite a good win, as i recall. Infact I remember that weekend well as i was going out with a sweet thing from Moulsecoomb & her parents were away. I had the chance to stay over the weekend & go to a party but i went to Albion instead.

We didn't seem to have many, certainly no 'crew'. I was in the terrace infront of the main stand, left of centre towards the uncovered goal. Funny how I can remember that.

I think our away kit was green shirts, navy shorts.
