Until quite recently (maybe still) the ME108 (which was a trainer not a fighter) was in service with the Spanish Air Force, as were Me109s and Heinkel 111s.

They quite often have sharp teeth painted on their noses as the American Flying Tigers used them to fight the Japanese in Burma and China before the Americans joined the war.

i remember the last time the vulcan came to shoreham air show the noise was unreal

I was based at RAF College Cranwell in the early 80's, and I remember being in the College building itself during an Officers pasing out parade when a Vulcan did the fly past. The entire college building shook so much I thought the bloody thing was going to land on the roof!

*Allegedly* the pilots had an unofficial game of chicken to see who could get closest to the College tower on fly pasts, and on this occasion, the pilot actually had to tilt the wings to miss it

Yesterday two typhoons turned directly over my house and today two helicopters. I hope all the aircraft will follow this route.:)

Cool.
Wouldn't it be BRILLO if they could have some kind of PAINTBALLING battle in the skies. See if Blighty can still put one over on the HUN.

I'd buy that for a dollar.

Right, never been before.

A) Is it any good?
B) Is being inside worth £20 each, when I can just sit outside with a picnic?

Cheers.
