just the sort of player we need an experienced 1st division target man but cant really see the majority of our fans accepting a striker that has just scored to put palace in the prem

Shipperley?

I suppose at least Leon might get a few more flick ons, courtesy of the ex-Palace striker's enormous man-breasts.

As we all know he is a Brighton fan anyway so what does it matter if he played for Palace?

Don't be so sure about wages, especially if there's no fee to be paid to another club. How much was Zamora on when we were in Division 1? From the rumours I heard, I think it was a fair whack. How much did Paul Kitson get a week? Guy Butters was on a good wage, probably still is. He turned us down when we first went for him so we must have come back with a decent offer.

of all the strikers we've seen mentioned on here this summer like armstrong, bradbury, benjemin ect ect shipperley is the 1 that id go for and im sure that if he was to come in and start banging in the goals or playing well with leon people would forget he was palace! must live somewhere not to far away and will probably want to stay local

Well spotted! Come on folks why are Palace getting rid of him? When he stumbled that ball over the line you coud see that he was seriously overweight and trying that old trick of fluffing his shirt out at the front to hide his gut.

No thanks!

Shipperley is starting to live up to his name. He now has the turning circle of a tanker, the agility of an ocean liner and the speed of a giant cargo ship.

He's years beyond his prime and not the kind of signing we should be going for.

Not to mention the vision of the Titanic.

He can still do the business in Div 1 (or whatever) and would be great for all the flick ons. He lost a lot of weight when Dowie came on board and his work rate was excellent.

Fat Palace reject. Ageing as well.

Not sure we should consider signing him.

He's lost weight??

Good god, he must have been the size of a small country before Dowie arrived then, because he's no Kate Moss now!
