Whilst I don't doubt there is no real threat to Sheffield Weds future by this, I certainly wouldn't call it a non-story. Its a clear indication that HMRC are getting tough a LOT earlier now on football clubs who are in hock with them.

Football clubs that think they can put off paying their taxes indefinitely and just carry on spending will need to think again by the looks.

I only called it a non-story because you already know the ending (hence non-story). Or does anyone seriously believe Wednesday are going to the wall.....I can't find any bookies who believe they are? I'm willing to have a £10 bet with anyone who thinks Wednesday won't exist when the season kicks off. Or even finishes for that matter.
