Alan Shearer has been asked about his penis by a comedy interviewer on a Norwegian television show.

The Newcastle striker was asked what he did with his penis after urinating.

When he hesitated, interviewer Kristopher Schau repeated the question. The former England international eventually said he wouldn't answer.

He was being interviewed by telephone for the Valerenga Magasin show by Schau and his brother Aleksander. Kristopher Schau told Shearer he shakes his penis after urinating.

Among the other questions Shearer was asked was what type of music he plays when he washes blood out of his car.

Nettavisen says Kjetil Siem, Valerenga's managing director, told the VG newspaper there would be a review of Shearer's interview.

Former Derby County and Nottingham Forest footballer Lars Bohinen, a friend of Shearer's, had advised the Schau brothers not to put those questions to him.

As a true Geordie, Alan should have pointed out at this point that "more than three shakes and it's a wank".

But that depends on the time of year ... between November and March it's too bloody cold here to even get it out for a pee .. let alone a three shake!!!!

The Tut 'n Shive...eeh, it's been a while...

or the Bridge or Duke of Wellie ....

I think most Geordies simply call it "recycling beer to Yorkshire"!
