I've always thought Wilkinson was pony and wouldn't make it. For too long some of our youngsters have had unfulfilled potential and some needed shipping out, Virgo being another example.

Much as I hoped Wilkinson might make it, I'm glad we appear to have a manager who is inclined to be ruthless when it comes to cutting out unnecessary personnel. Any extra money we can free up for new players is valuable.

Pitcher is different quality to Lee, just been unlucky with injuries.
I would have said that Wilko was no worse than Rehman though.
