as 10cc say, not in hove
even the argus is after him:

"Mr Barker's record on voting on gay rights issues has been scrutinised following the allegations. In 2002, he voted against plans to allow unmarried and gay couples to adopt children.

Mr Barker also moved to defend his Commons voting record on pro-gay issues.

"I support the equal treatment of gay couples and that is why I voted in favour of civil partnerships in 2004," he said."

Way out west
It may be a major departure for the Tory party to have either an openly gay MP, or supporters for that matter, the rest of us entered the 21st Century without our blinkers...over 6 years ago.

I've met Greg Barker too, once in Battle and is a close friend with my neighbours.

Just I feel sorry for his kids. Even if it was a woman, it is still a bit selfish.

I was at school with Tim Loughton. He was a pathetic little **** then, too,

They've already got at least one.

His name's Alan Duncan, you may have seen him on Have I Got News For You last week.

Alan Duncan and Nick Herbert (the MP for Arundel and the South Downs) are already out and there are reckoned to be about twelve others who are afraid to come out in case it offends their Conservative Associations. I talked with an old couple who were part of the selection committee that selected Herbert at a cricket lunch at Arundel. The woman was a typical old-fashioned blue rinse type, but she admitted that Herbert was such an outstanding candidate that she had to bury her dislike for his "proclivities". Apparently he is a brilliant MP and I would expect his majority to go even higher in what is already a massively safe Conservative seat. The proverbial monkey with a blue rosette would storm this seat.

...but who cares?

Christ, Albion fans are well aware of all the homophobia out there without adding fuel to the fire.

Does someone's sexuality really matter and is it our business?

Of course it matters. The good bible says it all and anyone who condones any of that sort of business is as bad as the sodomites themselves.

same sex parents................. how abhorent for a child walking in and seeing that. Homophobia is healthy but homosexuality is not.
