Thing is it's not a surprise to see Carole play well because he's had talent and that's been obvious since the very first time he made his debut 
The problem has always been getting him to sustain a level of performance that matches his unquestionable ability, didn't happen here last time or the first time, and judging by his transfer record it hasn't really happened anywhere else either.
If Gus can achieve it then he's definitely a genius.

If, as suggested, Lua Lua is back fit for the last 5-6 games, then Carole will probably not get the chances he needs to prove himself.
I've always liked him, but probably not good enough for where we are going. Even more so, if Gus has Hendrie in his long term plans.
