If the club was involved and wad selling the product surely they would agree to using club owned copyright pics where possible.

That would be the most logical way of getting fair whack of pictures - certainly from the past 10 years.

Alternatively, we could approach the Argus and negotiate a one-off fee for most if not all. Their archive ought to be immense.

You'd need to find someone to put all the data together and find photos of the individuals, and then asking the copyright holders if you can use a commercial project for free. And if you can get them, it would mean spending ages trawling through gawd knows what to find whatever data are out there.

Or you could ask Tim Carder. And he's busy. Really busy.
