Seagulls Bikini

Eighteen. Any younger, and you need parental consent.

So we went with a couple of people who do have nice bodies, who don't appear underage (whether they are or not), who don't need anyone else's permission, who were immiediately available, and prepared to do it for free.

If they're doing it for free can I have both of them tomorrow please?

Or is that being a bit rude? :D

Under-age for modelling bikinis.

Even those that are old enough - some people wouldn't be able to tell - they would look borderline legal, and that sends out completely the wrong message, plus misses the target market that is being aimed for.

Not only are Gully's Girls under age in terms of needing parental consent for modelling, I can just imagine how delighted any consenting parent would have been to discover that this also involved a positively forensic examination of their relative charms on here!

So for all sorts of reasons, we were definitely NOT up for the idea of using them for this particular promotion!

Bit conservative, isn't it, Dwayne? And broad stripes on any clothing aside from football shirts is unbelievably crap.

BTW, what's the 1% that isn't naff?

It's Warren actually, Brian.

I'm wearing the 2004 play-off T-shirt right now. That's in the 1%.

The 99% includes anything with a script typeface, the words 'boy', 'babe', 'legend' or 'tackle', and most items with huge text.

F*ck me, what's your problem Alan?

I'm not criticising your shop (I've never been in your shop or looked at your website).

If you don't want people to discuss products you sell, maybe you shouldn't promote them on a public messageboard?

Poor effort.

Blimey Warren, hit a nerve? You criticised the bikinis, I defended them.

I also happen to find the 2004 Play-Off T-shirts naff.

That's all. SAKE.

Is the right answer.

I've got a £30 gift voucher that I must have had for 2 or 3 years now. I've been in the Club Shop a few times and been, literally, desperate to just get rid of the thing but buggered if I could find anything vaguely half decent to spend it on or put it towards.

The closest I got was being nearly tempted by one of those retro shirt things, but the lack of manufacturer (yes, yes I understand why) put me off one of those.

I just asked she who wears bikinis if she'd wear it, and she responded:

"yes....if it didn't have the words 'the seagulls' plastered on it...

and didn't have the badge on it.

it's ok as a bikini"

which kinda coincides with my "It's a bit shit" verdict.
