I have just been for a swim in the sea, and am pleased to report it was rather pleasant, balmy even.

Although I admit this is in Lanzarote not Brighton.

I had a dip in Lyme Regis after work today and it's absolutely freezing, best time for a dip is mid-late September when the sun has warmed it up over the entire summer.
