Bear in mind that the sea heats up (and cools down) far slower than land...my guessing is that you will be lucky if the sea is more than about 12-13C...it will be cold out there.

It wasnt as cold as I was expecting, but the med it was NOT!!

I took a dip yesterday. Was cold at first but soon warmed up. When I was out amd shivering afterwards was not nice though. Good fun though.

I have just been for a swim in the sea, and am pleased to report it was rather pleasant, balmy even.

Although I admit this is in Lanzarote not Brighton.

On Saturday night, I REALLY needed a piss, and I didnt want to have to queue to get into Fortune of War, the public toilets were closed, and Geminis had shut for the evening - So I pissed in the sea, along with at least 30-40 people during our stay on the pebbles
