scotland indendence- good idea, or good riddance?

i cannae see what the Scots have to gain.. and what if another country invaded there (heck knows what for..) would they expect the English to help out?

You mean the US army and their air bases? I guess if Scotland did secede, they could have an indepedent foreign policy and get rid of those US invaders, good point, never thought of that.

There is no way their economy compares to Englands and many of their leading companies are based around the London Stock Exchance.

Which before the year is out will be owned by the Yanks
