Scotland in the rain - advice needed from outdoor types!

this whole threads a load of bollox, the bloke states he's been to Scotland and has the photos to prove it but he still cant work out the weather scenarios :shrug:

I haven't been since I was 12 and those photos are all in the lake district.

It's a bloke sir doug, but I do wonder if the local laydees will like us for our southern sophistication :)

Don't miss the view of the southern arc of the Cuillen mountains from the beach at Elgol, If you get to see it, as its often shrouded in mist, it is without doubt the finest view in Britain IMO

The 15 mile drive down from Broadford to Elgol is also lovely.

Also Visit the Sligachan Pub 25 miles on the road up to Portree, many easy walks into the Cuillens are possible from here, especially the red hills, and if you're a serious walker you might be able to scramble up on to Sgurr nan Gillian
