The Boy from Space used to freak me out at school.

Dark Towers was one of the others that they did and that was just as bad.

KNIGHTMARE was ACE and SCARY.

Mainly because the guy presenting it looked like a nonce.

Did anyone ever win that? Dont remember anyone ever doing it, probably because they always had really posh snotty nosed kids on it.

'OK er you're in a room...
...it has four walls...
...there is a door over the other side of it...
...oh there is a bomb in the room...
...you will have to get to the door before it expl...' :dunce:

Another film, but the child catcher in chitty chitty bang bang.. Never watched it since, horrible.

Also, much as I loved it, the vortex on the adventure game always made me a bit nervy...

One team won Knightmare once if memory serves me correct.

While I'm at it, does anyone else find the mechanised cobbler in the shop window on the lower shoreham road near Shoreham (the one that seems to be beckoning small children to their gory death in a Stephen King stylee) deeply disturbing?

No?

Just me then.

Sh*t I can't afford the therapy.

Do you mean the man sawing in the window next to frosts or is there another scary figurine in shoreham?

I used to have an office above there

FACT.

I was traumatised by most of the Look and Read stories, but particulary the one set in Hastings.

In return, can I have some naughty pictures of Gnoard?

Anyone remember a TV series in the early 70's called "Escape into night " .It was about a young boy who was ill and stuck at home .
He began to draw a house and then began to dream about it.

He included a friend in the house who he met in his dreams , BUT the bit i still remember with shivers to this day , is that he drew standing stones around the house . Every time he dreamed about the house the stones had moved closer .

And the stones had EYES

There was something called The Box Of Delights on once.

I can't remember exactly WHY it was scary.

Only that it definitely was :lolol:

And Chocky.
