Salt or Vinager first on your chips

Down here in Oz we use chicken salt which is so much better the common old regular salt, it's a subtly seasoned difference but unbeatable. As for vinegar, you can keep that muck of my "hot chips".

Neither...I eat mine with a liberal splash of Thai sweet chilli sauce, adds a bit of spice and flavour without leaving your chips a soggy mess!

Salt then vinegar. That way the vinegar spreads the salt throughout the chips; vinegar then salt causes the salt to clag in the wet on top!!
