Papers today suggesting Benitez til the end of the season then Pep Guardiola.

Jose coming back is also being discussed but the issues are

-Would benitez really come in just for two months?
-Is Guardiola really interested in leaving Barcelona? would give him a chance to prove himself as a manager/coach and remove doubts that he is riding the coat tails of a world class squad, but is a job at chelsea with their manager turnover the place to go? Was h just saying things to help him in his contract negotiations?
-Would Jose come back to chelsea? He wants control, but Abramovic doesn't like ceding control. He was househunting in london, but most seem to think he went to great lengths to be seen househunting in london that it was likely an attempt to help his contract negotiating. It is believed that Mourinho wants to come back to the EPL, though.

Good point made on Sky Sports News, Arsenal and United have kept their managers for a long time and have had sucess (well, Arsenal did) - will Chelsea ever follow suit ?

Cant see Pep Guardiola leaving a safe job at Barcelona for a massive gamble at Chelsea - Rafa seems ideal, but do Chelsea want an ex-Liverpool manager ?

It would appear losing to West Brom is a hangable offence for club owners.
Feel for AVB . . left overs of Mourinho's team that are well over the hill. Would suggest that Villas-Boas' signings are promising signings for the future . . Romeu is young, Lukaku looks like hes a prospect. Kevin De Bruyne already shown himself on European stage at what 20/21?
Shame he never got a chance properly to build his team.

Man U and Arsenal have built their foundations on youth coming through to the first team. Yes they'll buy the odd individual but only those who will add value to the core squad; the squad is not built around one player. Chelsea bought their success and have nothing to show for it other than a bunch of ageing premodonas who think they are the club.

Perhaps Chelsea should give someone the job and just leave them to it for a few seasons and put the money they would use into hiring and firing managers into the youth.

Ah hang on, this is Chelsea and with Abromovich still owning that wont happen
