So McGhee made the decision to sign 10 youngsters by choice ? This witch hunt is really getting out of hand now

Do you REALLY believe that if he was given the ALLEGED funds to strengthen he would have agreed to that?

I didnt think the youngsters were that bad yesterday, Lynch certainly lost a few brain cells with a brave bit of play and it took him 15 minutes to regain his composure.

We had 2 loan players yesterday who were no better than anything we have in the reserves, Williams in particular has a distinct lack of skill and a disturbing lack of interest in closing players/goalkeepers down.

Lynch, Cox and Gatting (remember him) have potential, but they need older heads to steer them in the right direction.

The problem is that too many of them are being pitched in too soon. Its quite literally men against boys out there this season. We should be looking at introducing the likes of Cox and Lynch gradually into the 1st team. They should be playing every now and then amongst a group of experienced professionals who can help develop and bring them on in the 1st team. But because of the decimation of the squad under McGhee, what we're actually left with is a bunch of kids who are having to start week-in, week-out, and are being RELIED upon to perform and get the results.

The balance is completely wrong. Far from bringing these players on, this season could well end up finishing them off.

I also cant understand why Hammond who was a very average fringe player who was close to being sold to Non League football had 3 good games two season ago and is now more or less Club Captain and the first name on the team sheet.
