i've watched it didn't think much to it just about watchable and no he doesn't win he lost on a points desicion he still has a good shape but his skin looks really thin and stretched

I quite enjoyed it. Thought it was much better than 3,4,5 - much more back to what the Rocky story was all about in the early days.
(If you can get past the complete implausibility of the storyline that is)

Loved Rocky IV. I watched it again over Christmas. Lundgren is a soviet MARVEL.

Grew up on the Rocky films so can't wait for Rocky Balboa! Who cares if it's utter nonsense with an implausible storyline - if you do care, don't go!

Watched this film this evening, and yes it's good. .. But 1 & 2 are considerably better, and probably 3 &4 are too. Number 5 is one of the worst films I have ever seen though.

But there are a couple of cringeworthy emotional speeches from sly that didn't fit with the character, and plus showed him up acting wise.

Plus some of the direction, with the black and white and flashy bits seemes a bit tacky...

But yeah GOOD, perhaps a lot for nostalgia reasons but 7 from me.
