Roast Parsnips,do you like them ?

I thought you had an allotment ? Why don't you grow them instead ?

Quick tip - parsnips tend to take an age to germinate in the ground. Get a head start by putting some damp kitchen towel in a plastic container and sprinkle the seeds over it. Put it somewhere warm and light ( but not direct light ). Hey presto - two weeks later they will have germinated. They need planting out straight away but you can put the container in the fridge to delay having to do this by a couple of weeks if need be.

To mix metaphors roasting with honey is rather overegging the pudding - parsnips are sufficiently sweet (at least to my palate) as it is.

Nevertheless they are a wholly wonderful vegetable:thumbsup:

I love roasted 'med veg' as well - cant beat a nice platter of roasted courgettes and aubergines with roast lamb!
