Interviewer: "Is Ringo Starr the best drummer in the world?"

John Lennon: "He's not even the best drummer in the Beatles."

McCartney was a genious. Alot of Harrisons, Lennons and McCartneys decent stuff released after the break up was actually written while they were Beatles.

Jealous Guy for example was written by john when he was a Beatles.. they just never stuck together long enough to release it all!

Yeah Jealous Guy was 'Child Of Nature'..

This is a good spiel about what the NEXT Beatles album might have been in 1970/71:

Didn't realise there was a film about Lennon and the FBI LI, should be interesting.

I'm sure there is an Elvis connection in there somewhere.

Presley (off his mind on perscription drugs at the time) saw the Beatles and their like a damaging influencence on society particularly Lennon.

I think Elvis went on at the American Government so much in the 70s (i.e. ringing the President night and day) that to shut him up they made him an "FBI agent" just to shut him up.

There's a photograph knocking about with him displaying some medal or something to signify it.

Could be wrong...

That's brilliant, never heard that about the [Burger] King :lolol:

Here's the Lennon film:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0478049/

Reporter: Mr. Lennon, do you feel any antagonism toward the people who have attempted to have you deported?

John Lennon: Absolutely not. I believe time wounds all heels.
