In this order:

Striker who is good enough to actually score some goals.

Central Midfielder who is more creative than Hammond.

Left back who can give Mayo back up or challenge him for his first team place.

Another striker who can score some goals!

After that we're safe and sorted :smokin:

give mayo back up? he is rubbish and the reason we need a left back.

I would have agreed with you before we sold Leon.

Can you see CKR, Robinson, McCammon, Turienzo, McPhee, Hart, Jarrett, and whoever else McGhee throws up front getting the goals to keep us up? I can't.

I can't, but I definitely couldn't see LK doing it either... try and drop it now, fella...

Oh... and in answer to the original question... 1 striker please... this will give us a far better chance of finding someone with the required quality in front of goal... we've already done the quantity thing... it hasn't worked...

Broadly agree with you.

Which is why I'm starting to get a little tense at the fact that the only developments seem to be around signing Henderson.

Nice, but hardly a priority. While I appreciate it would be a shame to miss out on Hendo, I reckon Flo and Kuipers could see us to the end of the season and we could worry about a new keeper in the summer.

We need some new faces elsewhere first.

Why?

He's got 5 goals in half a season. So a realistic target for the season would've been 10. That is enough with other players chipping in a few to keep us up.

And if he was given decent service it would have been many more. :nono:

Please drop it now... 5 is not good enough...

And your evidence is?...

He will score a few at Swansea - they are in League 1 - but has failed to do so frequently enough in more than one team in the CCC over several seasons...

He's gone... drop it...

Heard it on some local bbc radio if i remember rightly - not gospel though

Thanks... that doesn't sound like it is too certain to me... fingers-crossed we sign this fella... he seems to know where the net is... although not in the CCC, to be fair... but look at that guy at Reading...
