Response from CPRE

Apart from anything else, there is NOTHING is law that says that development is forbidden in an AONB or a National Park.

The boundaries of the National Park are yet to be settled. However, it is a FACT that the CPRE support the proposal to include the whole of the Town of Lewes within the boundaries of the National Park. That includes the industrial estates on the outskirts of the town.

Are they arguing that no further building should be allowed on that land? Of course not.

CPRE= Campaign for Rural England right?

In which case could someone please ask them what the f*** is rural about Brighton University, the A27 and Falmer Station. I'm tempted, having the email address to do just that but am aware that it's probably not best to send emails at 11.35 on a Friday night unless they're to your boss and purport to be about work. And my choice of words is probably more rural than Falmer....

Well done mate but you should have been doing this 2 years ago.
