It's a permanent 3 year deal as Bournemouth couldn't get a loan from a non league club. It was going to be a loan until January and then permanent.

Jamie Smith, what an unlucky young man. Makes his debut away at Huddersfield and gets replaced when Michel cuts one of their guys in half, then he has a fantastic pre-season and starts the first game, he sets up both the goals and performs well in a few other games and then we re-sign LuaLua and it's good bye to mr Smith. It's a real hard luck story, but for me, he's the only player we should be looking to loan out. He's clearly got some talent, and we've never really played him. Get him out on loan to Bournemouth, for example, get him playing games at a good standard and see if we might have a player.

Whatever happens, he'll never fit in here. But that's not neccessarily down to a lack of talent.

I don't think he's training fully yet, let alone match fitness.
