I am moving on the 16th. Most of them seem to be booked up and the only quote I have is £350 + VAT. We've only got a 1 bed flat and we're moving down the road.

I'm also moving on the 16th, had a couple of quotes and have been quoted £300 + Vat moving from a two bed flat in Hove to Worthing.

Must say sounds like yours is quite a lot for a "move down the road" !!!

An update on this - My thanks to Chicken Run and The Large One.
Tony Towner came round yesterday to price the job.

He's hillarious! He turned up at 8:30am in a pair of football shorts and football socks and proceeded to call my missus "babes". One of the most cheerful chaps I've ever met.

Anyway, got a quote of £235 including VAT and snapped it up.
