Must admit my preference is plucky Bournemouth and Premier League giants Villa. Watford are a basket case club that I'd be happy to see along side us for another season.

This - apart from feeling a bit conflicted as I maintain Watford, along with Wolves, are bending the rules so far that they are basically cheating. The cut price stars at Wolves due solely to one agent stinks for me and so does the slight of hand tricks Watford owners do to get players signed. Buy them with one club and give them to another club. Think I heard they were after a Scottish youngster to sign for Udinese whilst everyone knew that means he will end up at Watford. I am slightly unhappy at the USG link with us but at least we don't do these shenanigans.

Hoping for another stellar display from Michail Antonio FC, and a suitably lethargic one from Arsenal.

Of the three, Villa are the most likely to improve next season (chucking more money at it, obviously), whereas you can't see Watford or Bournemouth doing anything other than struggling. So I'm very much hoping- against the odds here- that Villa manage to screw this up. Also: Grealish.

Villa are going to lose Grealish either way. Throwing money at it hasn't helped them this season, and I'm not sure a Grealish-less Villa will tear up the division next year. Suspect it would be Watford who improve next season, if they stop up. For all the bonkers management stuff, they've got plenty of players who've been in the top flight for a few years now.

Yes, it was very unfortunate that the goal line technology couldn't provide a definitive answer as to whether the ball was over the line - it didn't fail, but the VAR DID fail to carry out his duty properly.

But shit happens. Do you REALLY want sporting outcomes decided in a law court rather than on the pitch (even with incorrect refereeing decisions?).

Not for me.
