Record attendance at withdean this sat

Are you sure ?? i was told they were ready for sat & just pending the safety certificate

Went Athletics Training at Withdean yesterday and the seats looked far from finished. Think the 1st game will be Palace.

I was talking to a Palace fan this week (spits on the floor ) and he was saying that this could happen to them.
They have three years left on their lease and Simon Jordon has been trying to buy the ground back, but Ron Noades just wont sell it.
I wonder if he has developers in mind for the land so that he can get a higher price for it.
Funny thing is they really could be in the same position as us then.
Any nice little athletic tracks around Croydon?

Perhaps we can let them ground share with us at Falmer and let them pay for it like we did Gillinghams improvements.

Crystal Palace Stadium is up for grabs as Sport England and the Local Council dont want the cost of developing it.

As the Olympic Stadium is going to be built and remain as an Athletics track after the games Crystal Palace stadium will no longer be needed.
