Must be small and light, but with good lens. 5mil pixels is fine. Something up to about £130.
Also best price if you know it.
Thanks

If you want small and cheap, I have one of these. Vivitar Vivcam 5150. Think it was about £60 (it was a pressie). It fits in the palm of my hand, and takes perfectly good quality photos, & video clips, and is very simple to use.

i have an ixus 70 and it's fantastic !!! you can get for 117 on amazon i think and they are great, i've had mine about 1 month and i love it.

previously i've had nikons but the software on this pisses all over it.

i got some advice from an independent shop and he said canons rule the digital camera market, everything about them is good, he also said that for picture quality check sony's carl zeiss lenses and also panasonic leica lenses.

don't be fooled by megeapixels either, aparently thats only usefull if you're making a1 posters, always go for quality of lense!!!

Have any of these small cameras got spot focusing? Looking for this to replace my broken Pentax. My new camera did not have this and does not fit in the pocket either.

I've got a Fuji 9M pixel which is good but my wife's casio exsilim EX -Z1050 is SUPERB - dead light and takes great pix and it's about (I haven't checked) £130 on Amazon
Highly highly recommended - and it's 10M pixels too so you get fab detail
