legend
noun 1 a traditional story popularly regarded as historical but which is not authenticated. 2 an extremely famous or notorious person: a screen legend. 3 an inscription, caption, or key. :p

I would say that Reinelt is extremely famous within the Brighton sphere.

I know it is a dodgy one, but it is conceivable that may have perished had he not scored. Of course, he doesn't compare to many other legends of the club, but his input was vital.

There are many similar 'legends' - Jimmy Glass of Carlisle and so on. I guess it all depends on your definition and what makes a legend.

Peter Ward

Brian Horton

Bobby Zamora

For his playing ability ( goal against Ipswich) and what he has doen for da yoof, Dean Wilkins.

Apart from that.....probably that is it in my eyes ( would have been Sergei Gotsmanov but he wasnt here that long . He was the most skillful player i have seen in my 30 odd years of suffering)
