Reading boss Steve Coppell is likely to start with a front pairing of Kevin Doyle and Dave Kitson for the home clash with Brighton.

Fellow striker Leroy Lita looks set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a recurrence of an ankle injury that kept him out earlier in the season.

Leading goalscorer Kitson is poised to start his first Championship match since November 5 despite playing against Luton last week with a heavily strapped ankle.

Dave Merrington is the SCR pundit. He sounds very authorative.

Reading described as workmanlike.
